Jeff Bridges stunned fans of The Big Lebowski on Thursday by posting a teaser video that he was getting ready to reprise the role of the Dude in some upcoming project. Since the date given in the teaser video is Feb. 3, the day of the Super Bowl, it’s most likely building up to a commercial of some kind. But anyone who wants to refresh themselves on The Big Lebowski before then only has a few weeks left to do it, because come February, it’s leaving Netflix, along with a few other movies and TV shows.
The Big Lebowski is one of those movies that come on and off Netflix over time. Another such film is Alfonso Cuaron’s Children of Men. Right as Cuaron is gearing up for a potential second Best Director Oscar for his latest film Roma, fans have a chance to revisit one of his earlier films, in which Clive Owen is tasked with saving the first human baby in ages amidst a dystopian landscape that feels a little closer every day.
